7/8" x 1" x 1/4" clear acrylic keyhole attachment hardware for wall-mounting frames and holders flush to the wall

Overview

The keyhole attachment is a clear acrylic hardware piece sized 7/8"W x 1"H x 1/4"D, designed to fasten to the back of acrylic frames, brochure holders, and flat-back displays for wall mounting. Two keyholes accept standard wall screws, letting you hang the frame flush against the wall with minimal visible hardware.

Keyhole mounting works by aligning the wide part of the keyholes with screws, pushing the frame flat, then pulling down slightly so the screw heads lock into the narrow slot. The clear acrylic keeps the mounting system visually minimal on most wall colors and finishes.

Primary Applications

  • Wall-mounted displays: Hang acrylic frames, certificates, and artwork flush against office and retail walls.
  • Brochure and literature holders: Mount flat-back holders on entryway and lobby walls without visible brackets.
  • Multi-location standardization: Use the same keyhole hardware across every store to ensure consistent, clean wall mounting.
  • Back-of-house signage: Hang directional, instructional, and notice frames in break rooms and employee areas.

FAQ & Care

What screws does this keyhole accept?
Standard wall screws — the keyhole slot width accommodates typical drywall and picture-hanging screws. Confirm screw head size fits the narrow keyhole slot before installation.
How do I attach the keyhole hardware to my frame?
Fasten the keyhole attachment to the back of the acrylic frame using screws, adhesive, or drilling, depending on your frame thickness and material. 321 Plastics can drill and pre-mount keyhole hardware during custom fabrication.
Will the frame hang flush to the wall?
Yes — keyhole mounting is designed to pull the frame flat and flush against the wall, with screw heads hidden inside the narrow slot for a clean appearance.
Can I use this on textured or uneven walls?
Keyhole mounting works best on flat, smooth surfaces like drywall and painted walls. On textured or curved surfaces, the frame may not sit completely flush.
Can you pre-drill or pre-mount keyhole hardware on my acrylic display?
Pre-drilling and pre-mounting are available during custom fabrication. Contact the manufacturer directly to discuss your frame specifications and hole placement.

7/8"W x 1"H x 1/4"D Keyhole Attachment Clear Hardware

Product Features:

  • Overall Dimensions: 7/8"W x 1"H x 1/4"D
  • Perfect for mounting any acrylic plastic frame/holder on a wall

These keyhole attachment hangers are a quick, easy and clean way to hang an acrylic frame, literature holder or wall mount display. The hangers are for mounting onto the back of picture frames, flat-back brochure holders and most things that needs to be mounted on a wall. This keyhole attachment is durable. Keyhole mounting is a method of securing or hanging an object as flush as possible against a flat surface. The main reason for using this type of mounting system is to hide the hanging hardware for a neat and clean look. Keyhole hanger is perfect for mounting almost any plastic frame on a wall.

Fasten the keyhole hanger to any screw or wall mount for a skillfully hung frame. Line the widest part of the keyholes on the back of the shelf up with the screws. Push the shelf onto the screws so that it's flush with the wall, then carefully pull the shelf down so that the screw heads slip up into the narrow part of the keyhole, thus locking the shelf in place.
