24" x 24" reusable floor stencil - mark forklift traffic zones on warehouse and garage floors

Overview

The CAUTION FORKLIFT TRAFFIC stencil is a 24" x 24" reusable plastic template for painting designated forklift routes and zones directly onto warehouse and garage floors. The inner cutout measures 20.25" x 20.25", and the stencil is made from flexible LDPE plastic that rolls for easy storage and transport.

Place it on clean, dry floor surface, paint over the cutout text, then flex and peel the stencil away. Paint bonds are broken when flexed, so dry paint peels cleanly without scraping (excludes oil-based paints). Use it repeatedly across multiple locations to mark pathways, load zones, and forklift traffic areas consistently.

Primary Applications

  • Warehouse floors: Mark active forklift routes and material handling zones.
  • Loading docks: Designate forklift traffic areas and pedestrian zones.
  • Garage and shop floors: Paint traffic corridors where forklifts operate.
  • Multi-facility rollout: One stencil marks the same pathway standard across every warehouse, dock, and facility location.

FAQ & Care

What size area does this stencil cover?
The overall stencil is 24" x 24", with a 20.25" x 20.25" inner cutout for the CAUTION FORKLIFT TRAFFIC text.
Can I use it more than once?
The stencil is fully reusable. After each use, flex the plastic to break the paint bond, and dry paint peels off. Clean and store it for the next application.
How do I remove the stencil after painting?
Once the paint is dry, flex the stencil to break the connection between paint and plastic; the paint peels right off. This method does not apply to oil-based paints, which require scraping.
What kind of paint should I use?
Water-based and latex paints work best with the flex-and-peel removal method. Oil-based paints do not peel cleanly and will require manual scraping.
Can I order multiple stencils for different warehouses?
Bulk orders are available direct from the manufacturer for standardizing forklift traffic markings across multiple locations or facilities.

A Forklift Traffic floor stencil is a visual marking used to designate pathways or areas where forklifts operate within a facility, warehouse, or industrial setting. Typically, this stencil displays the text forklift traffic in bold, capitalized letters, often in a bright color like yellow or black, for clear visibility.

These stencils are strategically placed on floors or pavements to indicate specific routes or zones where forklifts are authorized to move, load, or unload materials. They serve as a visual cue for both forklift operators and other employees to be aware of the designated forklift traffic areas.

The purpose of a Forklift Traffic floor stencil is to promote safety by clearly marking the paths where forklifts operate, alerting pedestrians to be cautious and watch out for forklifts in motion. These markings aid in preventing accidents, facilitating organized traffic flow, and ensuring the safety of both forklift operators and other personnel working in the area.
