4" x 16" plastic line stencil for parking lots, garages, and roadways - flexible, reusable, paint-and-peel cleanup

Overview

The 4" x 16" line stencil is a flexible plastic template for marking parking spaces, traffic lanes, and directional lines on asphalt and concrete. The inner stencil opening is 4" x 51.5", with overall dimensions of 7" x 55.25". It rolls and stores flat, and is made from durable, weather-resistant LDPE plastic rated for repeated outdoor use.

Position the stencil on the surface, apply paint or marking material through the opening with a brush, roller, or spray, and lift. Dried paint peels off easily by flexing the stencil (excluding oil-based paints), so it cleans fast between uses and lasts through many applications.

Primary Applications

  • Parking lots: Mark parking spaces and directional arrows with consistent line width.
  • Garages and decks: Create traffic lanes and safety markings on indoor and covered surfaces.
  • Roadways and driveways: Paint edge lines, centerlines, and hazard zones on asphalt.
  • Multi-property management: Order matched stencils for consistent line width and appearance across all locations.

FAQ & Care

What paint works with this stencil?
Common marking paints for asphalt and concrete work with this stencil. Water-based and latex paints peel off easily when dry; oil-based paints do not peel off by flexing.
How do I clean the stencil between uses?
Flex the stencil gently to break the bond between dried paint and plastic, then peel the paint off. Rinse if needed. For oil-based paint, manual scraping or solvent cleaning may be necessary.
Can I use it indoors and outdoors?
Yes. The LDPE plastic is weather-resistant and suited for repeated outdoor use, and also works on indoor garage and deck surfaces.
Does it roll up for storage?
The flexible plastic rolls and stores flat, so it takes up minimal space between jobs.
Can I order multiple stencils for a large project or chain of properties?
Bulk orders are available direct from the manufacturer for multi-property standardization and volume pricing. Custom line widths and lengths can be manufactured to specification.
